1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of SnapMind, an Android app made by Ctoryteller that reads, sorts and searches the screenshots on your phone. By installing or using SnapMind you agree to them. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.
Our Privacy Policy explains how SnapMind handles information, and our Refund Policy covers subscriptions.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use SnapMind on Android devices you own or control, in line with these Terms and the Google Play Terms of Service.
You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, resell or redistribute the app, or try to get round its subscription checks or app lock, except where the law expressly allows it.
3. Free and Pro
- Free includes up to 500 screenshots read by the AI, keyword search, up to 3 collections, reminders, the default digest schedule, and backups.
- Pro adds unlimited screenshots, search by meaning, unlimited collections, locking screenshots in the vault, a digest on your own schedule, and translation. Screenshots you have already locked stay openable on Free.
What each tier includes is shown in the app and may change for future subscriptions; a change will not take away, during a period you have already paid for, a Pro feature you had when you paid.
4. Subscriptions
- Pro is a yearly subscription bought through Google Play, at the price shown in the app and on Google Play at the time of purchase, including any applicable taxes.
- It renews automatically each year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Google Play; Pro continues until the end of the year you have paid for.
- Free trial. Where Google Play offers you a free trial, it shows the trial length before you start. Google Play decides who is eligible. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and the first year is charged.
- The subscription belongs to your Google account and can be restored on another phone with "Restore purchases".
- SnapMind checks your subscription with Google Play on your phone. Without a connection, Pro keeps working for up to 7 days after Google Play last confirmed it.
5. Your screenshots and your responsibilities
- Your screenshots remain yours. SnapMind reads them on your phone; we never receive them.
- You are responsible for the screenshots you take and keep, including any personal information of other people that appears in them, and for using SnapMind in line with the law.
- The AI can be wrong. Reading text, sorting, summaries, prices, dates, duplicates and grouping chats by person are automatic and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Check anything important against the original, and do not rely on SnapMind alone for anything critical — reminders included, which depend on your phone's notification and alarm settings.
- Deleting duplicates and originals. Only delete screenshots you are sure you no longer need. Items in SnapMind's Trash can be restored until you empty it; screenshots deleted from your phone's gallery are governed by Android.
6. Your data is on your phone
SnapMind has no server, so we cannot recover your library. It is lost if you uninstall the app, reset your phone or use "Wipe everything", unless you have a backup. You are responsible for making backups and for keeping your backup password. If you forget it and lose access to your Google account, your backups cannot be opened by anyone, including us.
7. Availability and changes
SnapMind is provided for Android through Google Play. We may update the app to add, change or remove features, fix problems, or keep up with Android and Google Play requirements. If we stop offering SnapMind, we will stop renewing subscriptions and tell you how any unexpired paid period will be handled.
8. Disclaimer
SnapMind is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, will read, sort or find every screenshot correctly, or will suit a particular purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ctoryteller is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, screenshots, profits or business, arising from your use of SnapMind. Our total liability for any claim relating to SnapMind is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
10. Ending these Terms
You can stop using SnapMind at any time by cancelling your subscription in Google Play and uninstalling the app. We may end your licence if you break these Terms. Sections 5, 6, 8, 9 and 11 continue to apply after these Terms end.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India and the State of Maharashtra. The courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live. Before going to court, please write to us — most problems can be resolved quickly.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will publish the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date. If you keep using SnapMind after a change, the updated Terms apply.
